Gwyn Carless

Studied General art and design at Chesterfield Art
College for two years, followed by three year design
degree at Loughborough Art & Design College.

Founded GC Designs in Sept 1995, designing and selling
first glass light range in.

Displayed lighting range at 1998/99 100% Design
Show in London. Also began working with Fibre Optics.
Secured contract with McNally Design Group to supply
lights for Dacoters and Busters Bars in Ireland.

Fibre Optic range debut at Cornerhouse Nightclub in
Middlesborough.

Garden Light designed for a Show Garden at the RHS
Chelsea Flower Show 2000. A full range of Garden
Lights designed after this due to overwhelming demand.

Introduced new designs at The London Garden Show/
Urban Garden Show 2002. This range gained a gold
award for best product.

Supplying Garden Lights to Conran Shops in Paris &
London.

Lighting Design for Kelly's Nightclub, Portrush,
Nortern Ireland.

Continuing to design furniture/lighting one off pieces
for a private company.
